November, not September.

If you look closely at the Conn family Bible lovingly placed in the reading room of the new School of Religion building, you may notice the book's dedication page to former Lee President Charles William Conn and his wife.

A look at the birthdate of Edna Louise Minor Conn (for whom the Vest Building lecture hall is named), a few marks are barely visible on the paper of an erased date that once filled the spot.

It looks as if the date originally read "Sept. 28" before being changed to "Nov. 22."

If you haven't looked through the massive Bible that sits atop a table in the crux of the room, I highly recommend doing so.

That President Paul Conn would donate his family's Bible to the university speaks highly of his love for the institution and his heart that all who pass through the halls of Lee may come to know the Lord.

The opening pages of the Conn family Bible also includes a list of their children's birthdays and wedding dates.
