Lee begins decking the (residence) halls

The winner of Lee University's Christmas race this year is Tharp Hall.

The women's dormitory was the first to put up decorations for the Christmas season this year, beating every other building at Lee.

Two fully-decorated Christmas trees are set up and glowing inside the lobby of the residence hall.

So who did second place go to?

The Lee Clarion, of course:
Members of the editorial board, led by News Editor Michelle Bollman's valiant talent, dedicated their Tuesday evening to adorning the Student Media Lab with garland, imitation snow and a dainty tree with personalized ornaments.

However, if you count the Christmas music blasted from the Student Media Lab yesterday evening, we were technically first.
