Dreamy Press Conference

So the Baptist Press Journalism Conference was quite an adventure, as always. In fact, not only did a team of student media editors travel to Nashville, Tenn., but we also flew 1800 years back in time.

During one of the awards ceremonies, it was easy to spot the date "Sept. 25, 200" on one of the screens.

Sorry, Grace, but your award just isn't modern enough.

Despite the typos (and the lack of free wireless), the conference was a fun experience, especially the final awards ceremony and banquet.

The melodies lofting from a grand piano into our ears, the cake slices so delicately and patiently waiting to be consumed...

Bride's Dream Catering did a pretty swell job of fitting deliciousness into a buffet that was wrapped up before anyone could get seconds.

I don't know about you, but a journalism conference isn't exactly what I would call a bride's dream.

Harrison Keely on the other hand, Definitely.
