It almost was: PCSU 2nd Floor

In the second segment of the "It almost was" series, we explore the design changes made to the Paul Conn Student Union before construction:

Above: The front steps to the PCSU were originally going to allow access from all angles to the front patio and entrance. No longer.

Below: The computer area would have originally encompassed the entire back section of the main floor. While the extra space would be welcome today when computer labs are overcrowded, cutting off that much space would only mean really, really squished post-chapel mixers... Wait, it can get more crowded? However, instead of spanning the tech quadrant across the back, the builders separated the larger space into two separate ones, each extending further forward than previously sketched.
