The Cutest Office on Campus?

I have to say that one of the most important building projects on the Lee campus in the last few decades was undoubtedly the construction of the Deacon Hut, a quaint office for Sodexo's campus general manager.

What I want to know is if the tiny one-room cube can be rented as a dorm room.

Think about it. I'd have the shortest walk to the dining hall while having a room to myself on the ped mall. It's practically genius. How soon can I move in?

In fact, there might be more students living on campus if Lee razed every dorm and erected single-unit rooms for every student. The campus would be dotted with friendly little cottages, each a comfortable spot to study, sleep or watch TV.

In all seriousness, I'm not suggesting that the manager booth is an eyesore, but it does raise some questions. What really goes on in that room? Is that where they lock all of the good sugary cereals, cheesecake, and buckets of ice cream? Why wasn't there room for just one more office in the actual cafeteria?

That hut takes up valuable space on the ped mall that could be used for games of ultimate frisbee.

Think about it.
