4,147 - 3,740 = 407

Are you a phantom student? Over ten percent of on-campus Lee students don't officially exist according to Lee's post office.

After all, there are only 3,740 mailboxes in the student union post office. When the Paul Conn Student Union was built in 2000 and the new post office opened, only 3,361 students were enrolled, leaving plenty of room for growth.

But now, not even a decade later, 407 students don't have a mail box at the campus post office.

So, how did Lee's post office explain the staggering numbers?

Apparently, some students share mailboxes, and it can be done by signing some forms at the front window. If you really want to save the world, you can start by mailpooling.

But it's not always necessary. The post office said that a large percentage of new freshman at Lee have yet to even register for a mail box entirely.

What a scary thought. How else will they get their chapel schedules?

I find that I need my campus mailbox. It helps to get refund checks much faster.
